| Lupus | Lupus (alias Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) is an immune system disease affecting mainly adult women. I am chairman of the North East Group of Lupus UK, a registered British charity. The Group has its own web site, where you can find many facts and articles about Lupus, and the organisations in Great Britain & elsewhere that exist to help those who have Lupus and their friends. |
| Austrian Stamps |
I collect postage stamps from Austria (and old letters, postcards, postal history..) I'm the Editor of the Austrian Philatelic Society, a UK-based (but with members world-wide) society for such collectors, and on the Austrian Philatelic Society web site give details of it, its activities, and its publications, as well more general information on Austrian Philately and some themes from my own collection such as the cancellations of Kitzbühel in the Tirol. The APS has developed a classification system for the cancellations used in Austria from 1900 which (we modestly assert) is better than anybody else's, and this is also described. |
